Reasons to Visit Strömstad in Winter

While shopping downtown yesterday, I photographed these windows. The buildings in Strömstad are a variety of colors, pink, yellow, and red being the most common. Their beautiful facades stand out against the white snow. We look forward to attending a new museum exhibit about the spa resorts that became popular from the early 18^th century to the 1930s,  Strömstad being among them. Today, Strömstad has a modern spa  which received three awards for 2023: Best Luxury Lifestyle Resort in Northern Europe, Best Luxury Conference & Event Hotel in Sweden, and Best Luxury Spa Resort in Sweden. I plan to check it out sometime in February.
