Oh, that rush of excitement at holding the first copies of a book you wrote! In my case, I worked on The Nansen Factor, Refugee Stories, over a period of 20 years. Not all the time, of course. But I devoted hours and hours to the creation of these stories, then to their revision and submission to literary magazines. Now, with publication happening, it’s on to promotion.
