As you may have already noticed, this blog is not on Substack. My choice. Substack intimidates me. So much going on in the world. So much to read. So little time. Right now, I have even been too busy for blog posts. My news is that I have purchased tickets for Sweden, so I will be returning to my husband’s country next month for four weeks. I’m looking forward to seeing Sven. Sven fractured his femur 11 months ago. He still experiences pain off and on at the site of the procedure. I feel fortunate to live in Boston, a city with great hospitals. We are so lucky to benefit from excellent medical care here. Let’s hope the current administration does not manage to destroy this wonderful service with its slash and burn tactics.
