My book launch took place June 18 at Belmont Books, an awesome local bookstore. I narrated a slide show, which the attendees seemed to enjoy – most of the photos were related to my dad’s family in Russia. Then I discussed my linked short story collection with Michelle Hoover. Afterwards, one of my daughters gave me a huge bouquet of flowers. (I was so excited that I forgot to take any photos myself. This photo is courtesy of Becca Kearns.)
