Two days until my reading at Belmont Books. I put flyers about the event up on several local bulletin boards. I plan a little slide show related to refugees, so that needed detailed preparation. Then I’ll read a flash from The Nansen Factor. Finally, I will be in conversation with Michelle Hoover, co-founder of GrubStreet’s Novel Incubator and host of the podcast 7 a.m. Novelist. The promotion folks tell me we have already sold 300 books, which is wonderful considering that there have been no reviews so far.
