Today I sent off five free copies of Seeing Joy, requested by readers who follow Goodreads Giveaways. The books went to Florida, Missouri, Wisconsin, and South Carolina. I’m finishing revisions on my novel set in Viking times. Before querying, I intend to read a new novel set 60 years earlier than mine and written by a Scottish poet. His book was reviewed by the New York Review of Books a couple weeks ago. If only I could be so lucky! Next week, it’s off to Wellfleet for a Seeing Joy reading at the library and the book fair organized by Friends of the Wellfleet Librairies.
